SEAMEN SUSPENDED
TRADE UNIONS DISPUTE T.U.C.'S LOSS OF MEMBERS (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 24. It, is understood that the general council of the Trades Union Congress, has decided to accept the decision of the disputes committee to suspend the National Union of Seamen from further affiliation with the Trades Union. The congress suspension is sequel to the I rouble which arose between the Trades Union Congress and the Seamen's Union, of which Mr. Ilavelock Wilson is head, over the union's gifts to the non-political miners' organisation. The effect of the suspension will be that the Trades Union Congress will lose an affiliated membership of about 60,0C0. Mr. Ilavelock Wilson says he is not perturbed in the least. Another interesting announcement is the dissolving pf the Transport "Workers' Federation in consequence Of the sea-, men's secession, since the latter pre-, dominated in membership. ■»
