LONDON, Nov. 17, Mr. Manhire withdrew the application for the branding of peajrs, which was a portion of the trade. i When Mr. Love, 'on behalf of the Wpple Dealers' Association, asserted that 25 per cent, of American apples were in containers denoting the place j of origin, the chairman, Mr..MitckellInnes, interposed: "Do you "know I some are branded with the. Bulldog 1 trade mark?" The inquiry closed after more retailers had opposed the application.
