AN UNRESTRICTED SCHEME AGREEMENT WITH BRITAIN (The Times.) /Received Nov. 18. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 17. As a result of an interprovincial conference the Canadian Government is embarking on a new unrestricted migration scheme with Britain,, based on nomination, firstly by friends, and, secondly, descriptive nomination whereby an employer applies for workers whom lie wishes to settle in Canada. This involves a large increase in the migration staff in London. Responsible persons, organisations, emigration societies, provided they are able to settle the migrants, can carry out bulk nomination until May 15, 1928.
