The King’s Bench dismissed the application to prohibit the Church of England from proceeding further with the new prayer book, the court holding that neither the Church Assembly nor the Legislative Committee is a body with legal authority to determine, questions affecting the rights_of subjects, hut merely sets in motion proposals which may be embodied in legislation. Therefore, neither is the proper subject for prohibitive action.
