The Rev. T. If. Eccarsall, who has been in charge of the Wanganui East Baptist Church for the, past three years, will leave Wanganui next week to take over his new charge at Otahuhu. Mr. E. J. Heifer, accountant at the Bank of New Zealand at Masterton, will leave shortly to take up the position of manager of the Lpwer Hutt branch of the bank, Mr. F. Willis, who has been resident in Auckland as inspector for the A.P.A. in Sydney, has been transferred back to the head office in Wellington, where he has taken up the'additional duties as organiser of the outside staff of the com pany for New Zealand. Mr. G. Peacock, F.1.A.5., who has been for 15 years general secretary for the A.P.A. in Sydney, has been appointed general manager for New Zealand. Mr. Peacock arrived in Wellington recently to take up his new duties. The Waikohu County Council to-day resolved to extond its congratulations to Mr. G. W. Albertson upon his welldeserved promotion to the rank of district engineer. A resolution 'to this effect was carried at, the instance, of the chairman, Cr. T. B. Spence. Complimentary reference was made to the satisfactory manner in which Mr. Albertson has always assisted the council and its staff.
