WILL CLOSURE BE INTRODUCED? (Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. As a long debate on the Gaming Amendment Bill was imminent, members of the House of Representatives savv a special significance in a question which Mr. T. W. Rhodes put to the Prime Minister last night. He wished the Government to set, up a committee to revise the standing orders of Parliament during the recess, especially, he added, with a view to curtailing discussion in certain directions in order to ensure the more expeditious despatch of business. ' The Prime Minister replied that the subject was under consideration by Cabinet, and he would bo glad to make a statement later as to the Govern-, ment's intentions.
