SYDNEY'S CONTROL
TRANSFER TO COMMISSION SYDNEY, October 20. Cabinet, at a meeting, decided that Parliament should meet on November 2 or 3 for a short session, to enable the passage of the Supply Bill and a measure to transfer the civic government of Sydney to a commission. The latter will mean that the forthcoming civic elections will not be held.
