TO MINERS’ INTERNATIONAL (British Official Wireless.) Roc. 2 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 19. A visa had been granted to Air. Richardson, the British, miners’ treasurer, who was to accompany Mr. A. .1. Conk to the Minors’ International, hut fhe latter stales that in the circumstances no British miners’ representative will proceed to Warsaw. On |tie strength of a telegram from Warsaw. Mr. Cook announced to-day that Poland had instructed the London Consul to issue him a visa to enable him lo visit, the .Miners' International. The executive therefore urged him t< come by aeroplane, adding that, they were postponing the opening of the conference. Mr. Cook visited the Consulate and discovered that it had not received ally such instiuelions and he was refused ,i visa. Mr. Cook announced that hi will not row go in any case, nnd the Internalional must iinanage without him or meet in another country. |An earlier message slated (hat tin authorities in Poland had refused Mr. Cook a visa.]
