Vaals went a. mile in .limn. 55sec-. Bacchus and Statesman ran 10 furlongs in 2min. 24see. Ninbela heat Pitoota over nine furlongs, in 2mm.. 2sec. Merry Mint and Tangible did a working gallop. On the tan Pilliewinkie covered 12 furlongs in 2min. 43scc. Trclyon beat Epilogue over a mile in Iniin. 46J,seo. Aga Khan and Rainproof went six furlongs m limn. 17seo. At Caulfield on the grass, Bombard covered 12 furlongs easily in 2min. 48sec. As expected, the experience at the Spring meeting wielded considerable influence and the motion was carried by an overwhelming majority.
