INTERESTING EVENTS The ninth annual gathering of the Primary Schools' Sports Association was held at the Oval to-day. Good weather prevailed, and the events were run off in quick succession. The entries were numerous and each competition had to be run off in heats. The entries from the country schools came from only as far as Ormond this year, as the districts further out held a separate sports meeting. Duriiiir the morning the first and second sections of the football and .basketball were played off, while the tug-of-war contests were commenced. The results of the earlier events were: FOOTBALL.
