With Lupineel out of the June Steeplechase at Hastings on Saturday, the Woden-Kovno* bracket was firm favorite from Rail Forte. Woden and Little River together made all the ''mining from Hokioi and San Forte. Little River was done half a m ; lc. from home, where Hokioi ran up. AVoden, however, drew away, and won by a length from San Forte, who cut the tiring Hokioi out of second money by three lengths. Parsin' Through was fourth, followed l\v Kovno, Sir Wai, and Little River.
