PASSING SUPPLIES
WORK OF PARLIAMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR CRITICS (Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The opening of the Address-in-Reply debate is expected in the House of Representatives this evening, but the Government will have to introduce its usual monetary Supply Bill in the afternoon, and there is a good chance that the pentup forces of criticism will be let loose on this measure, which gives wide opportunities for discussion. As the Imprest Bill -must be passed before the end of the month it is possible that the discussion will not cease in ‘the afternoon, and that 'it may have to proceed in the evening, thus delaying the more formal debate. The Labor Party is known to bo keen on raising the question of relief works wages at' the earliest opportunity, and this is a chance they are not likely to neglect.
