ON THE ROCKS. Another vessel bad been driven on the rocks. The captain and crew were lucky to reach the shore alive, where they huddled 1 through the night in the shelter of the beetling cliffy. Fortunately one of the crew had his pouch of tobacco unharmed by the buffeting of the elements, and soon the men were contentedly puffing away. “My word!” exclaimed the Captain. “This is.grand tobacco. I guess it’s expensive.” “Well, it isn’t!” answered the sailor. “It’s Bears’ Cut Plug, only 8d an ounce!” •■Then we’ll all get some,’’ they all shouted. And later: They did!
