While engaged in draining operations on the farm of Mr. It, J. Knuckoy at Rawhitiron, Mr. Walter Burton, of Chi'selhurst, sustained shook and bruises owing to a premature explosion of gelignite which was being used for the removal of obstructions. Though suffering from shock and severe bruising, Mr. Burton's condition is not considered serious.
There seems to bo aristocrats iu every department of life, whether of braius, breeding or wealth, and the name applies even to manufactured gocda.
