FRAUD ALLEGED

CLAIM OVER LAND DEAL. (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, last night.The hearing of the claim of George Donald Pinney against the Matarawa Land Co. for £1294 damages, reduced from £4174, for alleged misrepresentation, was continued in the Supreme Court to-day.

Many witnesses were heard concerning the quality of the land. Counsel for defendants'said they had discovered no evidence of fraud,' and asked for judgment. Mr. Justice Jlerdman said he would reserve an application for leave to move tor a nonsuit. The. case is proceeding.
