DEHORNED CATTLE: JUDGING AT SHOW
Tho practice of .deducting points from dehorned animals entered for show competition was discussed at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Ayrshire Cattle Breeders' Association, following a remit from the Southland branch that in future judges bo instructed not to deduct points from dehorned cattle. The Southland representative explained that the remit was intended to benefit those breeders who found horned beasts a nuisance.
