The Council of the New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Association decided last night that the 1027 championship tournament, be played at Palmcrstou North under the control of the Maiiawatu Association, commencing on August ."> 1. Entries close with the New Zealand secretary on August 1(>.
It is likely that Poverty Ray will be represented at the New Zealand tournament at Palmerston North. The executive, however, iiave yet to discuss the matter. ,
The weekly meeting of the Poverty Hockey Association's executive "set down for last night was postponed on account of the heavy ram.
