The speed boat, Miss N, owned by Mr. R. M. Iloyos, was destroyed by fire off Orakei wharf on Sunday afternoon. An explosion occurred as the boat was diiftinn from the wharf, and she was quickly enveloped in flames. 7 lie two occupants dived over the side and sWarn ashore. The boat was not insured, and .tlie loss is estimated at £BOO or £9OO.
