ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS
COURT JELLICOE
Bro. R. Lowndes, clijef ranger of the Juvenile Court Jellicoe, presided over the fortnightly meeting. Assisting him were hits subordinate officers and the president, Bro. R. Allen, and also several senior court brothers. Votes Of thanks were passed to Bros. Attwcod, Sells, and Allen for services and donations given to the court- in connection with the ping pong competition. Bro. R. Sutton, who has been confined to hospital on account of an accident, < was present, and signified his intention of again -becoming an active member of the court. Three sets of the ping pong competition were played off, and Bros. P. and R. Lockett and Collett were the successful competitors. After an exhibition match between Bro. V. Ivess and Bro. IX. Lookett, the conn was closed.
COURT WM. GLADSTONE. At, the quarterly meeting of Court Win. Gladstone the chief ranger, Iho. R. Allen, assisted by 1.P.C.R., Bro. M. Morris, -a,ml l P.C.R., Bros. <bparmw, File, and Ablin, kept- the business in motion. The president of the Juvenile Court submitted a report, on its activities. The election of officers resulted : Chief ranger, Bro. G. IV. Ingram; sub-chief , ranger, Bro. IS. O’Dwyer; senior woodward, Bro. J. Foster; junior woodward, Bro. C. Vaughan; senior beadle, Bin. Crnickshank; junior beadle, Bro. G. Ansell; secretary, Bro. C. Bruce; treasurer, Bro F. Sells; minute secretary, Bro. Venables: press steward, Bro. G. VS. Ingram. It- was reported that- Foresters bad not- been standing still on the field of sport, and tho hockey learn on .Tupe 3 bad won the hockey shield fi;oin the previous holders.
