ROSE'S AMATEUR TWO-MILK N.Z. RECORD (Vo- Pwss Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. R. A. Rose's time of 9m in. 20 1-5 sec. for two' miles, made at Nelson on April 10, was passed as,a New Zealand record at to-night's meeting of the .New Zealand Athletic Council, and it was decided also that the Australian and New Zealand Union be asked to have the time recognised ao an Australasian record.
The 'applications of T. Oakley and C, FlettJ cyclists, to have their performances over .two miles recognised as New Zealand records were held over pending further information.
