THE DISTRACTED LOVER.
The agony of a distracted lover is vividly told in a letter trom Mr. David Preedman, who stated that falling in hve with a young lady who was partial to men who smoked pipes he promptly switched to one. "Then," says he, "my agony began. I tried one brand of tobacco after another. Then came the dav I tried Edgeworth. Imagine mv delight when after the first few purls I did not feel the old familiar bite. I pufl'ed on, inhaling the delightful aroma, and oh, boy! it was sweet, right down to the bottom. Nothing has separated me from my pipe or my pipe from Edgeworth since then."*
