BANK CLERK SHOT
BRISBANE, May 25. Mistaking the footsteps of a nightwatchman for those of a burglar about, midnight, Douglas Hunter, 23, n. clerk, of the Union Bank, wlio sleeps on the hank premises, accidentally shot himself Hk the right thigh in jumping from bed with his revolver. The weapon caught in the bidolotbes and went off. The watchman, who heard the report, rushed; into JlunHw’s room, and I omul the clerk in a state of collapse. Hunter is recovering.
