A GREAT SIGHT: 150 ELEPHANTS

The* Air Force machines have arrived at Cairo, on their return flight from Capetown. Most valuable information was gained during the flight—particularly regarding roads and landing-places, which were excellent throughout the route. The aeroplanes powerfully impressed the natives, demonstrating their immense potential value in preserving peace. A magnificent sight obtained by the airmen was of 150 stampeding elephant*, which were pursued for a long distance across country.
