The .Tockey Club Hurdle race was won by Grosvenor 10.1.1, with Micronesia i 0.9, second, and Piratic, 11.2 third. There were seven starters. Micronesia took charge at the half-mile, but Grosvenor -with, a run made a great forward move, and, taking command rounding the bend, led into the" straight, giving nothing else a .chance, and leading over the last hurdle, won easily up by five lengths. Time, 4.21.}. The Queen’s Handicap at Newcastle resulted: Story 9.6 1„ King Collar 8.2 2, Hennoaldo 8.4 3. Four starters. Won by a length. Time, 1.41:}.
