ANGLO-AMERICAN WAR CLAIMS (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association WASHINGTON, May 22. Following; on the announcement that a settlement has been reached on the American-British war claims, politico: circles understand that the claims practically cancel each other. The figure which Senator Borah reckoned in millions has been reduced to £300,000, consequently’ no money will pass. The question of compensation will be a matter between the subjects and their respective governments.
