EDEN (N.S.W.), April 29,

After putting out four anchors straight, to seaward froth the stranded RiVerina the steamer Bergalia return 1 ed to Eden at 11 p.m. yesterday. About a mile of wire was used to fix the steamer to the anchors.

'The salvage gear, including the heaving gear and the pumps, is being sent overland to Mnllaeoota. 'Timber for the punt to carry the gear across Mnllaeoota Lake is being sent from Sydney by the steamer Merimbula, due here to-morrow, and will lie sent on to Mallaeoota. It is stated here that a team of bullocks has been engaged to sledge the gear round to Cabo Bench.
