MOTORIST KILLED

CAR GOES OVER BANK (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. A motor accident on a Mangaone by-road on Thursday afternoon subsequently proved fatal, George Thompson, about 40, a married man with a wife and children, a resident of Mnsterton, being the victim. Thompson was a canvasser.

When turning his ear on the grass near R. Mclntyre’s it slipped over tire lank and capsized, partly crushing Thompson, and then turned again and threw him into a paddock. He was removed to the County Hospital, where he died at 1 p.m. yesterday. An inquest will be held on Monday.
