B|d; best. North Island wethers and or maiden ewes, 48 to 's6lb. 6gd, do. 56 to 641 b. 6|d; 64 to '72lb. and over 721 b. 4jjd : ordinary North Island wethers and or maiden ewes, 48 to 561 b. and 56 to 641 b., 6/jd; 64 to 72 and over 721 b., 4;jd; North Island ewes, under 641 b., 4*d; do. 64 to 721 b. and over 721 b., 3gd. Remarks: Lamb, no change; wethers, no change ; light-weight ewes, -£d higher ■ other ewes, no change.”
