A case arising out of an exhibition of sapphires at Wembley occupied the courts to-day, when Barry McCiae Burnside, formerly in business in Australia, and trading in England as Bumside and Co. since 1920, sued Mrs. E. M. Jenkins and her husband for alleged libel. Plaintiff said that Mrs. Jenkins wrote to Mr. 11. Knowles, the Queensland Government’s gem expert, calling Burnside a mongrel, and describing his exhibit as a disgrace to Queensland. It
