CAUSES OF DIVORCE LONDON, May 2. “The danger period of matrimony is 12 years after the wedding, when the average age of the parties is 35, according to recent divorce cases,” says the Weekly Despatch. “The second critical stage is 20 years after marriage. Sixty per cent, of divorces are a obtained by childless couples, while the housing shortage is forcing married people to live with their parents or in furnished rooms. A frequent case of dissatisfaction is the criticism of relatives, which is often fatal to happiness. Lodgers are the most common co-respondents.
