WEDDING

' McLEOD —WILLIAMS A quiet wedding, there being only a few friends and near relations present, was solemnised at St. John’s Cathedral, Napier, on Wednesday afternoon, by the very Rev. Dean Muyne. when Miss Sadie Williams, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Williams, of Napier, was married to Mr. Stanley McLeod, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. McLeod, of Gisborne.

The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a. frock of white georgette adorned with blue medallions and finished off by a veil crowned with the customary orange blossoms, while a most beautiful bouquet of white roses, relieved with touches of blue and pink, was carried. Miss Freda Williams, the bridesmaid, was attired in cornflower blue georgette embroidered with vieux rose, anil wore a silver hat to tone with the dress. She earned a white bouquet relieved with vieux rose.

The bride’s mother wore a pretty dress of pale amethyst cloth with a hat to match, while the'mother of the bridegroom was attired in a dress of cinnamon.

Aft ill* the ceremony a quiet reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents. The happy couple latei left for the south, the bride’s travelling dress being of saxe blue chenille cloth and a. hat to match.
