Suzanne Lenglen’s first professional appearance in England will be at the Phyllis Court Club, Henley, from June 29 until July 2, thus clashing with Wimbledon, which also ends on July 2. Lenglen’s promoter sayfc that the clash with Wimbledon is purely u coincidence. It was arranged because of Henley Week, when Lenglen would be a great attraction, and it was the oidy week that the club was able to afford the expenditure. .. ~
