The Napier harbor Hoard lias set up a committee to negotiate for the purchase of a dredge suitable for the Hoard’s requirements. Mr. ft. 0. R. Mason, member for Eden, will lie visiting this district next week and will give a public address in (lie City Ifall on Monday evening, ft will lie remembered that Mr. Mason was elected to the House, at a by-election subsequent to the resignation of Sir O. J. l’arr on his appointment as High Commissioner. By the election of Mr. Mason live Labor Party . attained the position of being the official Opposition. Mr. Mason will take as his subject, “ Two Years of Coates and Confidence.’’
