The adoption of a, community lighting system similar to that recently established in Hastings was decided Upon by the Central Electric Power Board. Details of the scheme and a canvass of consumers will be arranged by the board’s engineer, and it is proposed that the charge per unit he sd. which is half of the ordinary chatge for lighting current.
