GREECE’S WAR DEBTS

AGREEMENT WITH BRITAIN (Australian nnd N.Z Cable Association. (Received April 18, 10 a.m.) LONDON, April 15. A White Paper has been published giving the terms of the agreement between Britain and Greece in the settlement, of the latter’s war debt. The sum of £21,441,(XX) is fixed as the sum after damages caused by the British troops in Macedonia are deducted. Under the agreement, if at any time Britain receives aggregate payments •under the Allied war debts funding agreement, and on account of reparations, or of the. liberation of bonds which exceed payments made by Britain to the United States in settlement of her own debt, Greece will be credited with a portion of such excess. On the other hand, any deficit will be made up by a proportionate increase in the payments next due from Greece. Britain expects to collect from Greece in 62 years £23,550,000.
