UNDERGRADUATES’ ORGY
500 PANES (IE GLASS SMASHED AT OXFORD. OXFORD, Feb. 22. More than 500 panes of glass in tlm 'Peckwatur, Torn, and Canterbury quadrangles at Christ Church were smashed by undergraduates during an orgy late oil -Saturday night following the Ruliingdon Cluir dinner. The University authorities have endeavored to keep the matter secret, but it transpires that, after the dinner the mulorgraduates, firmed with hockey sticks, copper kettles, pieces of coal, and other things, returned to Christ Church and fiercely bombarded windows and electric: globes. Not one' window of the rooms in ihe Peckwuter quadrangle was left intact. Glass was strewn "everywhere, and in many instances window frames were smashed. If will take at least a week for a dozen workmen to repair the damage. Buiiiugdon Club is the most exclusive club in the university.
