RUSHED TO HANKOW
WARSHIPS OF THE POWERS FOLLOWING UP THE NOTES (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received April IS, 1 p.m.) SHANGHAI, April 17. Additional warships are being rushed to Hankow in preparation for the Towers’ next stop with regard to the Nanking Notes. The warship Vindictive, with searfimes, and the United States cruiser Cincinnati, are among the vessels on ioute. The latter received her baptismal of firn from Iviang Ysu forts, in the vicinity of Chingkiang. One sailor was wounded. The Cincinnati, replied and silenced the forts.
