The hearing has commenced ot Cnird's second action against the Federal Steam Navigation Co. and the Union Steamship Co. of New Zealand, asking for a declaration of validity of an agreement dated July 30, 1912, for pooling the earnings of certain steamers, and that ten steamers acquired by the defendants after that agreement" be made subject to it.
