NEGOTIATIONS RESUMED
BRITAIN AND CHINA AGREEMENT VIRTUALLY REACHED (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.: (Received February 9. 5 p.m.) SHANGHAI, February 8. It is understood an agreement lias virtually been reached, blit the Nationalist Government is slill awaiting the British Government’s decision regarding the concentration of troops at Shanghai. A suggestion is now advanced by Mr. Chen that, troops from England disembark at. Singapore. MORE DESTROYERS FOR CHINA (Received February 9, 3 p.m.) * LONDON, February 8. The Eighth Destroyer Flotilla lias left for China.
