PRINCE AND THE MAORIS

HAKA BEFORE MATCH

LONDON, Nov. 22.

The Prince of Wales visited the Rectory Field yesterday afternoon to see the match between Blackheath and the Maoris. When the. Prince arrived bd at once went on the held, where both, teams were lined up. Tb| players on each side were presented to him individually, and afterwards the Maoris gave their war song and dance. They were led by B. Haupapa, who, although" not playing in the match, changed info football' dress for the occasion.

The Prince, who was received with loud chewing, was much interested, and Mr J. G. <<oatcs, Prime Minister of New Zealand, was present, to welcome the Prince.
