CREDIT BY FRAUD
DUNEDIN GIRL'S CRIME
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. An eighteen year old girl, whose name was suppressed, was this morning convicted of obtaining credit by fraud. The police stated that the girl, who came from Dunedin, represented herself as Dr. Cruickshank. She obtained goods to the value of £lO from one shop, and £3O from another. Her people were respectable residents of Dunedin. Sho had left home and her father now refused to have anything more to do with her. The goods had been recovered, but, were useless for sale' purposes. Accused was admitted to probation for twelve months, and ordered to remain in St. Anne's home.
