ENCOURAGING PRESERVATION

Parr's negotiations', General Loder has presented a valuable silver challenge clip for competition at the chief shows in New Zealand, with a view to encouraging the preservation of native bush and flora. The competition will be arranged by trustees, consisting of. tial Minister of Agriculture and two recognised botanists. Colonel Loder presented the cup to Mr. Con tea, who is conveying it to New Zealand.
