The Daily Express' Berlin corresponlent says that' 10,000,000 doughnuts, which was the German seasonal fare :onsumed in the city last evening, together with roast goose and champagne, msted the supplementary carp and punch. Nine thousand police were mobilised in Berlin to prevent disorderly celebrations.
