NGATAPA CLUB'S MEETING SUCCESS AT THE PARK Fine though overcast, weather greeted t'he continuation of the New Zealand championship sports meeting held at tlhe I'ark course, to-day undeV the auspices of tin; Ngatapa Sports Club. The attendance increased during tlie afternoon, and great enthusiasm was evinced in the events. Additional results were: — Sword dance, Poverty Bay Championship (6 entries): Hazel Lee (Napier), 1. Zeta Scink (Hastings) 2, Ina Jukes (Gis- ' 220 YARDS FLAT, NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP: U. Murland 1. E. Williams 2. I. J. Hurrev 3. Time, 23 3-5. Williams Jed to within 20 yards of tiie tape, but Murland finished with a fine burst, and won by H- yards. Hurrev was three yards back, third. Stock-whip and bottle race (11 entries): J. Jobson 1. H. Williamson 2, H. Allen 3. Sword dance, under 12 (5 entries).— Pat Cunn 1, Phyllis McGhie 2, Flora Johnstone 3. Sean Truibhais, under 18 (14 entries). —Hazel Lee 1, E. Sharpies 2. Zeta Scink 3.
