PIRATES SEIZE AIRMEN

PILOTS TAKEN INTO DESERT PARIS, Nov. 17. A new and modem form of piracy is springing up along what was formerly known to navigators as the Barbary Coast. This is .the capture of aircraft and airmen along the inhospitable shores of Africa between the Straits of Gibraltar and the Canary Islands. Two postal aeroplanes of the air route from Casablanca to Dakar, compelled to land Capo Bojadpr, -were seized by wild Moorish horsenull, who burned the aeroplanes, mails, and parcels. They carried the two pilots into captivity in tho interior. The French authorities are taking energetic steps to obtain their liberajtioii.
