N.Z. TOUR ABANDONED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The question of the proposed tour of American athletes through New Zealand during the present season has been definitely knocked on the. head by a decision reached by the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association last evening. It considered that the right type of athlete is not available and that it would be courting disaster to proceed with the arrangements in view of the foreign relations committee of the. American Athletic Union restricting overseas tours to 21 days.
