Lord Woolavington, who won the Derby and St. Leger with Coronach, has given £IO,OOO towards the establishment of a chair of animal breeding at Edinburgh "University.' Nearly 4000 turkeys were sold at tho annual Michaelmas turkey sale at Attleborough, Norfolk. Norfolk turkeys bowever, are not expected to bo so plentiful at Christmas.
