Mr. G. S; Moody, Mayor of is at present in Oisbonie. Mr. Moody came' over to attend a meeting of the Bay of Plenty licensing committee 0 To Kkn'aka. He leaves for Opofiki again to-morrow.
Mr. J. J. Keane, engineer to the Cook County Council, is at present confined to bed owing to a. slight illness. An impressive tribute to the esteem in which tho late' Mr. Ernest Adair was held Was paid tbis afternoon> at the burial ceremony.
