(Special to the Herald.) TK IvAIMKAy this day. The quarterly meeting of the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee was held at T« .Karaka to-day, Mr. E. O. Levvey, K : .M., presiding. There were also present: Messr*. ,1. H. Itoid, C S. Moody, tl. Doyle and A. Mottng. On t'he apposition of Mr. J. (:!. Nolan a renewal of the license for the Tahiti Hotel. Waipiro' Bay, was'fi'anted to'lsabella McCultech. An application fortlie renewal of the license for the Tat-ap'ouri Hotel was adjourned until the March meeting, permission being granted to the proprietor to carry oil iii temporary premises. Ttte Committee approved of the. plans for a new building. A similar adjournment was made in connection with "an application for the renewal' of the license for the Lake HoUBQ Hotel, and permission was granted for the temporary premises to he oe* cupied' in the meantime, approving also of the plans' lor the new hotel.
