LOST MEMORY?
MISSING MRS. CHRISTIE (Sydney Sun Cables.) (Received December 7, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Dec 6. There is no further trace of Mrs. Christie, who disappeared from her home. Her husband states that he was unaware she intended leaving home, He left home for the week-end before she started. It is thought. Mrs. Christie's car was allowed! to run down the steep decline. It is presumed.the driver wandered on the. cfroar dbwnlands nearby. The police and 60 searchers dragged the lakes and ponds in the vicinity, including the mysterious "Tho Silent Pond,'.' which has sinister memories in local legend, and figured in one of her stories. The three days' andffiights' search has been fruitless,' though dogs have been employed. It is thought to be a case bf lost memory.
